Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Czech Embassy in Accra continues its activities to enhance bilateral trade relations with Ghana. On November 12, 2020, the Economic section of the Embassy organized a Business Forum on its premises in strict compliance with the gygienic protocol of COVID 19.
The event focused on involving private sector stakeholders in promoting trade relations between the two countries. The forum was attended by the President of the Ghanaian Union of Traders, dr Joseph Kwaku Obeng, Ms. Victoria M. E. Hajar, First Vice President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce, Mr Anthony K. Ameka, Executive Director of the Ghana National Pharmacy Chamber, Ambassador Nancy Sam-Quartey, President of Women in Tourism. Others were Ms Alisa Osei Asamoah, President of the Association of Tour Operators in Ghana, Ms Lydia Sasuo, Executive Director of the Association for Development, private entrepreneur Mr Thomas Ribeiro etc. Business Councilor Robert Hrubý and his assistant Dominic Amoah presented the Czech Republic as a country of many investment opportunities and an interesting alternative with many comparative advantages.
